Choose "your hard"
Exercise is hard. Eating right is hard. Being overweight is hard. Being out-of-shape is hard.
We all have to choose “our hard”. Which one will you choose?
If you are one of those individuals who has chosen to tackle the “being overweight and/or out-of-shape hard,” good for you!
It is going to be tough. If someone tells you differently, they are lying to you!
It will require hard work and dedication.
You will have to give up things on a regular basis; fast food, eating out, sleeping in, alcohol, sweets and so on.
You will be uncomfortable
You will want to quit
It will require a large amount of patience
You will need to remind yourself daily why you started on this path
When you are ready to throw in the towel, please remember these tips:
It will get easier because you will get better at it.
The only time you fail is when you stop and give up
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
We can pay people to do many things for us, but this my friend, is up to you and you alone. You can be coached alone the journey, but it is ultimately up to you. You are the only one who can move your body and you are the only one putting food in your mouth.
It doesn't have to be expensive.
You must find activities you enjoy! Who sticks with something they hate!
You body was designed to move
Rewarding yourself with food is not a reward, it is harming and disgracing your body
You have one body, one chance and tomorrow is not to be any easier that right now
Make decisions and make them strongly. Don't second guess yourself.
Last but most definitely not least, you have to learn to love your body first. Why one earth would you want to take care of something that you hate or despise? Love your body, Care for your body. It is designed perfectly for you and you alone and it is amazing!
We live in a world of instant gratification. Thank you Amazon and Netflix!
A health journey will NOT fall under that category! The only thing that you can do instantly to begin your journey, give me a call! I would love to help you get started on the journey! It will be hard, yes, but I promise you, we will have fun!
